| From the day that the appearance of the images of moon in literary works on, the literati's attention to it has never stopped in all ages, that is to say, Chinese literati set an eternal nostalgia with moon. This thesis starting with the evolvement process of the images of moon analyzes the images of the moon in Lu Xun's work with the method of textual scrutiny in order to discuss and study the meaning of the images of the moon in Lu Xun's work. The first part analyzes the evolvement process and the symbolic meaning of the images of moon, which is one of the imagoes that appeared earliest in literary works. This chapter discusses the aesthetic characteristics and the symbolic meaning of the images of moon from the perspective of the source of the images of moon and its effects on literary works. The second part mainly studies the connotation and significance of the images of moon described in Lu Xun's work. First, this part classifies the images of the moon that appears in Lu Xun's work according to the different images of moon and the different functions it performs in his work. Then, it analyzes the art exhibition and its function of Lu Xun's unique description and symbolic meaning of the images of moon. The third part discusses Lun Xun's enrichment and development of the imagoes of the noon. It first analyzes relationship between the imagoes of the moon and the innermost world of Lun Xun.,and then explores Lunxun's enrichment and development of the imagoes of the noon, as well as the influence to the modern description of the imagoes of the moon.. Lu Xun elevated the love knot of the Chinese people toward the moon to an apex by pondering society and life. |
