Promoting Northwest Cultural Industries With Developing The Silk Road Heritage

This thesis discusses the topic about developing northwest region culture industry by declaring silk road as world heritage. There are four chapters: Chapter one cultural heritage and culture industry, states relevant theories of cultural heritage and culture industry,with a successful case about cultural heritage industrialization. Chapter two the SWOT analysis of developing culture industry in northwest region, analyses the advantages and inferior positions, opportunities and challenges about developing northwest culture industry using SWOT analysis. The SWOT shows that silk road, the route way style industry heritage, is the important advantage which riches northwest culture industry resources. Declaring silk road as world heritage is the greatest opportunity to developing northwest culture industry. Chapter three the industrialization of culture industry in northwest region, states industrialization methods of northwest culture industry. The analysis which is about the region developing patterns, the developing methods etc. A selected case is given. This part is the emphases of thesis, also the difficulties. Chapter four lists government actions of developing northwest region culture industry, and set some suggestions which government could take to improve the culture industry in northwest region of China.
