The importance of psychology and psycholinguistics to a theory of second language learning and teaching is hardly in question today. This thesis is just designed to serve as a tentative psychological interpretation of this language learning process. This paper will operate with the relationship between the psychological factors and second language acquisition.First, language acquisition requires learners as well as instructors to have a concrete concept of the nature of language. This is the prerequisite for their good performance. Then, if we have some knowledge and concept about the process of second language acquisition psychologically, we can be aware of where we are in the long course of language acquisition. In this way, it will serve the author and other potential readers as a guide to action and maybe play a positive role in overcoming some of long existed frustrations and failures as learners.Factually, emotional factors as one part of the psychological factors can play an important role in our second language acquisition, how to make them under control and overcome the negative ones is another problem to deal with in this thesis. It is only hoped that the author's tentative analysis will be considered as another worthwhile source of ideas.
