As a indispensable part of classroom teaching according to the content, aim and request,teachers' questioning has been traditionally viewed as an important constituent of teaching inclassroom context. The main aim of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is to develop theability of using Chinese for foreign students. This principle decides that teachers' questioningand students' answering is the most interactive activity and teachers' questioning plays a veryimportant role in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The thesis deals with teachers' questioning on the novice level of Teaching Chinese as aForeign Language according to it's own characteristics of the subject and the actual classroomactivities with tape-recording, observation and interviews and aims to present a survey on theteachers' questioning especially on the questioning pattern and the questioning feedback and givesome useful teaching suggestions. Basically based on what is surveyed in the thesis, theresearcher aims to gain a further improvement and offer a beneficial reference for teacher'squestioning of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
