In some sense, the collective reminiscences of the senior writersconcerning the "Cultural Revolution" embodies the consciousness of the identityapproval of the group of the "remembers" when narrating the "Cultural Revolution"after it, meanwhile, reflects the complex relationship between the intellectuals' speechesand the ideology for the "new period"; the elderly writers show different emotionalinclinations by narrating the suffering situation of the "Cultural Revolution"; the elderlywriters carefully examine the disasters of the "Cultural Revolution" on the standpoint ofthe reconsiders, and introspect themselves by different narrating postures. It reflects someexpectation of rebuilding the self-image of the elderly writers; they adjust and organizethe utterance rhetoric ways that are suitable for them and let these ways become themeaning carriers of constructing the self-personality during the "reminiscences of theCultural Revolution".
