"In the initial stage of Song dynasty, the poem's subject matter bothhave inheriting, and have transforming, poems describing scenery of hillsand waters began to grow up after Zhuang, Lao retreated. "This is atreatise of the metaphysical poems and the poems describing scenery ofhills and waters in dragon-carving and the literary mind by Liu Xie. Inthe past theory, people usually debate that" poems describing scenery ofhills and waters began to grow up after Zhuang,Lao retreated."butusually neglect the study of"subject matter both have inheriting, and havetransforming", so as to neglect the process of turning from metaphysicalpoems to poems describing scenery of hills and waters. This thesis tries todescribe the evolutionary track of metaphysical poems to poemsdescribing scenery of hills and waters,and explain the lengthy, flectionand complexity of it's evolving process.Also,the process frommetaphysical poems to poems describing scenery of hills and waters is aprocess of metaphysics natural view toward landscape esthetic sense.It isto discuss this problem deeply from the angle of philosophy, thusindirectly establishing the position of the metaphysical poems in theChinese ancient history of poem.
