Rome was building-up above the antiquated moral conceptsand citizens. We can say that citizen and morality are the twogreatest sills in Rome founding. They were celebrated for pious,sincere, rigorous, simple, being rated as a model in the morals.The strict morality made Rome citizen to be diligence farmers,brave soldiers and officials that placed national interestabove all. Therefore, Rome became a great empire. Each famoushistorian of Rome believed that citizens' virtue is the mostimportant reason in Rome's success. Livius once said that fromhis point of view, everyone ought to pay attention to theseproblems that what life they had and what morality they oncehad. In peace time, who and what applied to make empire be builtand expanded. But, in the republic later, citizen morality beruined is the root cause that the Rome became feeble. So,knowing Roman citizen morality is importance.There are three parts:Part one is the foreword: Discuss the morality significanceto social development and excellent citizen morality'ssignificance to Rome social's development.Part two is the text: Firstly, elaborate the definition andthe scope of citizen in Rome. Secondly, concretely discuss theperiod citizen morals of Rome republic: the citizen morality,occupation morality. The citizen morality include: Patriotic,devout, trustworthiness, obey the law etc. The occupationmorality carries on treatise from three aspects: Politician,farmer, soldier. Finally, discuss the morality of the ancientRome republic and to draw lessons from a function sociallynowadays.Part three is the conclusion: Tally up the citizenmorality's aggressive and negative effect in Rome society'sdevelopment.
