The Greeks In The 26～(th) Dynasty Of Ancient Egypt

In the Egyptological field, the studies of the influence between the ancient Egyptian civilization and the ancient Greek civilization have already become one of the focus that scholars competed to discuss. This paper will draw quintessence from all the essentials on the basis of the scientific attitude, and seek truth from facts and historical materialism, and strictly limit the time in the 26th dynasty of ancient Egypt. The Greeks had made a series of activities in the land of Egypt when they reached Egypt through colonial expansion. I will attempt to have a comprehensive analysis according to their activities.The paper decided to use the Greeks of different occupational status as a classification during this special time.The most important problem is classification of the Greeks. According to first learned most of the material, I found that the description of these professional characteristics of the Greek is quite obvious. These Greeks will be classified according to different occupations, because so much letter described the information of mercenaries, businessmen, navy, artists. Every part of the paper described on the basis of historical records and archaeological evidence.Then, these Greeks will produce the kind of influence for ancient Egyptian civilization. I observed that the representatives of both the Greeks what kind of identity, is a new feature appears in ancient Egyptian society. It is the first time that the ancient civilizations of Egypt was given a complicated and all-round impact. This paper will discuss the influence from the political, economic, cultural and the change of demographic patterns .
