On The Nuzhen-orientated Policy Of Jin Shi Zong And Its Assessment

In the early of Jin Dynasty, Nu Zhen society generally tended to be ingredient of Han ethnic. To overcome the conflicts during the change , maintain the governing of Nv Zhen noblemen and keep the lasting peace,Jin Shizong carried out various Nu Zhen-orientated policies : First , he reformed the Meng An Mou Ke that has migrated into the Central Plains for solving the poverty of some Nu Zhen people and unbalanced phenomenon of the rich and the poor; Second, he popularized graphics studying, cultured talented people actively , translated a lot of Chinese Scripture history into Nu Zhen graphics and supported Nu Zhen descendants'learning; Third , he held the examination and made the talented people officers; Fourth , he rebuilt and visited the Shang Jing Hui Ning Fu where the ancestor originated ; Fifth, he introduced Nu Zhen-orientated policy.The result of the policy indicated he didn't accomplish his goal. At first , he failed to maintain the national tradition. Then , Meng An Mo Ke lost it's fight. At last , in the mid-late of Jin Dynasty there existed serious corruption in the military and government , meanwhile the apparent national conflicts arose.To assess those polices, this paper discuss the contradiction between the original idea and final result. At the same time it probed the conflicts resulted from the subjective mind and objective situation change from the perspective of the 12th century time features of national relationship. It's hard for Jin Shizong to understand Nu Zhen people's tradition is founded on the basis of backward production style and inferior social development level. It's impossible to copy the original at that social condition . On one hand he hoped to maintain Nu Zhen governing for ever by keeping traditional customs, on the other hand he found it hard to make Nu Zhen people accept Han Ethnic culture.In the 12^th century when there was the harmony and conflict among the different nations , Jin Shizong's ethnic statement ,policy and recognition about ethnic issues is difficult to go beyond his time. His Nu Zhen-orientated policy indicated he didn't find a effective way to cater for the trend of mixing into Han Ethnic culture and maintain superior tradition.
