The Reaserch Of The Russo-Japanese War's Enormity In Northeast China

The Russo-Japanese War is a cruel battle, which aimed at re-partitioning Northeast Asia, especially Northeast part of China, broke out in Feb, 1904 and ended in Sept, 1905. As was the main battlefield, the Northeast part of China was worsely destroyed, not only the sovereignty of the country and local administration were infringed but also numerous peasants lost their lives and enormous property. The three provinces of Northeast China experienced retrogression of social development and miseries and sufferings everywhere after the War.Multitudes of research on the War between Japan and Russia concerning different aspects have been done, but the research on enormity conducted to the Northeast part of China has never been carried out. However, to make up for the related research, foster patriotism and privide necessanry references for a better understanding of the historical facts of the War, the author sorts out the useful data and thinks indepth of the newspapers, periodicals, archive files and literature in modern times to present this paper. This paper includes introduction, text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly deals with the object of study, content, general research of the academic circles in and abroad, as well as the purpose and meaning of doing this research.The text, which is devided into four parts, concerns the systematic and detailed elaboration of the enormity conducted by Japanese and Russian armies during the War.The first part expounds the complecated and dangerous situation of Northesast China in an international view after the The Russo-Japanese War, along with the getting involvement of the War for Northeast China.The second part goes on to generally discuss the enormity done to Northeast China during the War between Japan and Russia.The third part systematically talks about the casualties and the homelessness of the people in Northeast China caused by the War.The fourth part further describes the facts of property loss and the holocaust of cultural relics and historic sites of Northeast China.In the concluding part, this paper summarizes the catastrophe endured by the people in Northeast China in the War, such as the countless tragic deaths of the people, the damage of the abundant property, the destitution and homelessness of the survived people, the great shortage of food, etc. Lastly, it analyzes the effects of the Russo-Japanese War on Northeast China.
