With the higher status of females, the higher is the demand for practicability and aesthetic of maternity dress when they actively join social activities and work. However, the research of maternity dress design is at the initial stage, and the existing maternity dress just can reach the simple requirement for clothing. As a cloth with specific functionality, its design must be agree well with the present living standard and personal desire.Based on many investigations of maternity dress market and living standards with personality, the present thesis gives the practical evidences of maternity dress design and seeks its fundamentals in psychology and sociology and behavior. As for the detailed study, this thesis obey the usual discipline, namely from commonness of cloth design to individual characteristics of maternity dress, and find the guidelines of clothing design in terms of cultural background and social conditions. From this guideline combining with investigation of its market, the design requirements for maternity dress as well as design thinking are found, and they are the following several folds: The maternity dress should be elegance and have diverse styles and high quality, which are suit to different places, That's to say that maternity can enjoy from the wore dress. When we design ,we must consider the functionality, including comfort, fit and protecting. Attach importance to humanity, maternity dress aims at humanity. Maternity dress design need study for psychological satisfaction and be generalization with personality satisfying personal interests and desires.In a word, this thesis build the usual guideline of maternity dress design from the maternity dress market, social structures and living stylesof maternity, and give its theory from interdisciplinary interaction, namely psychological, social and behavioral science. |
