| Huai-Bang Opera is a rare ancient kind in Henan local dramas. Because it originated and was popular with the ancient"Huaiqing district"(now Jiaozuo area) including Henei( now Qinyang area), Jiyuan, Wenxian , Mengxian , Xiuwu ,Wuzhi,Yangwu(now Yuanyang area), people called Huai-Bang Opera. Huai-Bang Opera has some important artistic features: plain, rough, bold, heroic, hearty, intense. This paper takes two different kind documents of the Qinyang city Huai-Bang Opera troup and the Dongguan village Huai-Bang Opera troup as a representative,then analyzes the different survival condition of the Huai-Bang specialized theatrical troupe and the folk amateur opera. By this I study Huai-Bang Opera folk activity's influenceon the local people's lives.The paper is divided into five parts:First part: an introduction. I discuss the Huai-Bang Opera activity's function from the view of the history and the survival present situation of Huai-Bang Opera folk troup. Then I suppose its nature of people revelry activity and its function of promoting the village community harmony.Second part: the artistic feature of Huai-Bang Opera and an outline about its spreading and distribute. The part gives a summary of Huai-Bang Opera's artistic feature, the various views of the sources, and a status of spreading and distribution.Third part: the history and present situation of Huai-Bang Opera folk troupe. The part introduces the three historical periods of Huai-Bang Opera troupe development__forming period, mature period and after the founding of China. This article takes two different kind documents of the Qinyang city Huai-Bang Opera troup and the Dongguan village Huai-Bang Opera troup as a representative. I analyze the different survival condition of the Huai-Bang specialized theatrical troupe and the folk amateur opera. Fourth part: the folk custom function of Huai-Bang Opera activity. The part gives an elaboration of Huai-Bang Opera entertainment function. Along with the god–amusing function's attenuation , Huai-Bang Opera performance gradually becomes one kind of people revelries activities. This kind revelry nature now shows as followings __ all the people participating performance, the activity having a ceremony and the Huai-Bang Opera content of some unique dramatic fun.Fifth part: the influence of Huai-Bang Opera folk troupe on harmonious folk custom community's construction. The Huai-Bang Opera folk troupe's establishment and its performance enclose with village community integration. In nowadays countryside changing background of the gradual individual of farmer's life and product, the performance, rehearse and other activities strengthen villagers' collective consciousness, promote the community members'human communication and emotion communication.Sixth part: a conclusion. I strongly suppose that Huai-Bang Opera entertaining people's function as the unique local cultural. The Huai-Bang Opera folk troupe makes significance on the harmonious community. We appeal that people must pay further attention to the protection and the development of Huai-Bang Opera.
