The Research Of Culture Industries Development Model Of Guangxi

Cultural industries, being a rising-sun-industry, has become a comerstoneindustry in many countries and districts. Having realized the significance ofdeveloping cultural industries, the Communist Party of China writes down inthe report of 16th Central Congress that the development of the cultural industryshould be regarded as a crucial approach to prosper the socialist culture and toreadjust the industrial structure, and an important measure to improve regionalcompetitiveness under market economy. Therefore, a great emphasis is placedon the development of the industry in provinces through out the country.Guangxi autonomous region is rich in cultural resources and the culture industryplays a significant role in the economic and social development of themunicipality. The Party Committee and the government of the autonomousregion attach great importance to the development of culture industry, taking itas a crucial measure to adjust economic structure.This thesis begins with the introduction to the connotation of the cultureindustries and the research and application of the related theories home andabroad. Through the analysis of Guangxi's status quo of cultural industries, theauthor of the thesis observes some issues such as small in scale, slow in growth,lagging in the reform of management system, inadequate in input and so on. Theauthor also points out that the prime cause lies in the systematic contradiction between the administrative management and marketization. NeverthelessGuangxi also has its advantages in the development of the cultural industries.Based on the previous analysis, the author adopts the theories and methods ofindustrial economics and puts the emphasis of the research on thedevelopmental mode. According to the specific situations in Guangxi, such aseconomic level, cultural features and resources, a general mode of developmentis proposed on the basis of contrastively analyzing the developmental mode ofthe cultural industries in developed countries and developed regions in China.Furthermore, the author puts forward a notion of constructing a culturalcooperation zone involving Nanning, Liuzhou and Guilin. Meanwhile thedevelopmental mode and the countermeasures and suggestions of thecooperation zone are discussed.
