Research On The Guinan Pinghua In The View Of Regional Records

The thesis, which takes such social history materials as Guinan Regional Records and etc as the basis and takes the modern linguistic research results as the reference, studies separately the distribution,origin and forming time of Pinghua in Guinan region. Here, the linguistic features of Guinan Pinghua are discussed with emphasis and its evolutional historical tendency is pointed out. The so-called Guinan Pinghua talked here is a kind of Chinese dialect affected by the local dialects in Guinan, said by Han soldiers and civilians from Zhongyuan settled in Guangxi because of the war in the history. Its "root" still belongs to the North Mandarin then.The distribution of Guinan Pinghua in the history is the same as that of modern one basically, which lies in the Yongjiang River, Zuojiang River, Youjiang River and Rongjiang River.Its origin is Zhongyuan Mandarin said by North soldiers and civilians moving into Guinan due to the military immigrants in Song Dynasty. The reason for this name "Pinghua" is that it has such features as straight voice and calm tone. This is a summary statement for its own phonetic features. The forming history of Guinan Pinghua was completed about in the Song Dynasty, and it' s presumed that the specific time is in the late of the Northern Song Dynasty.From the perspective of Regional Records, the dialect, influenced by the strong local dialects such as Gui-Liu Mandarin and Nanning Baihua in the history, drew from certain language features and then made its own language features show different evolving law. The contacts with indigenous language Zhuang dialect are mainly reflected by the Loanword of Zhuang dialect from Guinan Pinghua. Through the analysis and study of these Loanword, some of the linguistic features in Guinan Pinghua will be able to be recognized.This paper places emphsis upon using historical information . Moreover, by means of comparing it with the local languages, the forming history and evolution of Guinan Pinghua are proved. We finally achieve the purpose of "confirming language with history" "confirming history with language".
