On Russian Energy Diplomacy In Putin Period

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russia is not only a world power and an important pole in the multi-polar world, but also an essential link of the world's political and global economic changes and development. In today's world, military security is more and more retreated to a secondary status, but rather nonmilitary security factors including energy security factor have occupied a dominant position. Russia is located across the two continents of Europe and Asia. The important geopolitics status and the rich oil gas resources cause Russia the vital significance in the global economic security and political stability. Therefore, the formulation and implementation of Russia's energy foreign policy has been drawn much attention in the international society. This article details to the implementation of energy resources foreign policy in the Putin period. It is divided into six parts :Introduction makes a brief introduction of the concept of energy diplomacy and the significance of topics.
