Teaching Chinese as a foreign language has a long history in China, starts from Sui Dynasty continuously to Qing Dynasty. Tang Dynasty is one of most powerful feudal dynasties in Chinese history, the prosperous feudal economics produces advanced politics, education, law, science and technology and so on, and the education of Tang Dynasty is at the leading position. Foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty is more advanced than previous dynasties, it become the main channel for spreading Chinese .But during this time, foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty has not obtained enough attention .This paper discusses the foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty from the education angle of view, and hope that it can make certain enlightened function to the teaching Chinese as a foreign language at present.This paper divides into five parts.The first part, it introduces this paper's research situation at present, research method and research technique, research goal and significance. Now there are a few researches on foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty, and it does not get widespread attention .This paper studies the foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty from the education angle , and hope that the prosperous foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty will get more attention and researches by this elaboration. The second part, it mainly elaborates foreign students' origin and constitution of Tang Dynasty. Tang Dynasty is one of the most powerful countries of the world; it attracts many students, which come from Asian and European countries. These foreign students are outstanding and talented, who selected strictly in their countries. Some of them are royal descendants, and some of them are noble descendants. These countries select foreign students with obvious feudal rank color. The number of foreign students from Xinluo is the largest, next is Japan .This part take these two countries as the key research objects, and elaborates separately.The third part, mainly elaborates the organization and the management way about foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty. The main organization for foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty is such six schools: Guoxueguan, Taixueguan, Simenguan, Lvxueguan, Shuxueguan, and Suanxueguan .The foreign student does in Rome as Rome does, study and live together with native students in six schools. Foreign students' management ways are same as Chinese students .The central management ways are study management way, test management way and daily behavior.management way.The fourth part, mainly elaborates the courses and the teaching forms. Guoxueguan, Taixueguan, Simenguan take the Confucian books as courses. The required courses are Lunyu andXiaojing .The elective courses approximately are Shiji,Hanshu,Houhanshu,Sanguozhi, Guoyu,Shuowenjiezi,Zilin,Yili,Zhouyi,Shangshu,Chunqiugongyangzhuan,Chunqiuguliangzhuan.Wujingzhengyi is the textbook. Lvxueguan, Shuxueguan, Suanxueguan are vocational-technical schools. Students of these schools study professional skills mainly and they have to learn some Confucian books. Students of Lvxueguan take previous dynasties'laws as professional courses and basic courses. Professional courses of Shuxueguan are Shijingsantishu,Shuowen, Zilin,Zitong,Wenzishixun, Kuoziyuan,Zihai. Suanxueguan has two specialties, the first specialty's courses includeJiuzhangsuanshu, Haidaosuanjing,Sunzisuanjing,Wucaosuanjing.The second specialty's courses include Zhuishu,Jigusuanjing .In addition, two specialties also have compulsory public classes: Jiyi and Sandengshu.Foreign students'teaching forms are Jianglun, Wen'nan. Jianglun includes Zhijiang and Changjiang. Zhijiang is special, and its scale is the biggest. Changjiang is a daily teaching form, it can make students comprehend and grasp the content easily. Wen'nan explains Confucians books more profound.The fifth part, mainly elaborates the influence and status of foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty. These foreign students take advanced civilization of Tang Dynasty to their motherlands; it promotes these nations'politics, economics, education, science and technology and so on. Xinluo and Japan are two countries which are influenced deeply. Foreign students make prominent contribution for Chinese and foreign culture exchange. Foreign students' Chinese education of Tang Dynasty has permanent influence on the world.In summary, foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty is mature and prosperous in the history of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in ancient times. It spreads Tang,.civilization,.everywhere,.and., accelerates.,the,.development of human society. The foreign students'Chinese education of Tang Dynasty is worth conducting thorough research.
