The thesis is presented with the aim of making some contribution to the new piano teaching system. The thesis is divided into six parts. After a simple introduction of the present situation of colleges, teachers and students, the second part introduces some basic meanings and theories of the new teaching method, structured teaching, which is supposed to be an efficient way of improving the quality of piano education. The following three parts are dedicated to the discussion of the feasibility of the application of structured teaching method in piano teaching, from the aspects of teaching mode, teaching management and students respectively. The new mode is applied in the forms of digital group teaching, team work and individual teaching in piano education, and each of which is guided by the idea that teaching should be modified according to the students of different levels.
