Chinese architectural culture is one of the world's unique style construction science. And the palaces, is the essence of ancient Chinese architecture; and construction Before Qin dynasty is the origin of several thousand years of Chinese culture. And I also trying to find the reasons for this period of construction cultural characteristics focus on ideas from ideology and culture.Firstly, I try to define the concept of the palace that this article discuss, the actuality of research, the theory and methodology which concern in this article. Secondly, some basic issues, such as Chinese culture and Chinese architecture,Chinese and Western architectural construction,the historical reasons of clay- wood construction development, are discussed. These elements which are explored will give us a better understanding of the construction culture. Thirdly, based on archaeological information, I focus on some aspects such as the variety of the layout of the XiaShangWestern Zhou Dynasty palace,the changes in the shapes,the relationship between palace and the royal court or the capital. And the main focus on the the origins,development,characteristics of the palace figure, and the evolution of construction technology and the thinking concerning building .Fourthly, a lot of materials derive from literature and archaeology which about XiaShang Western Zhou Dynasty palaces construction are analysised, and on these basis ,we can sum up some conclusion about its flat features, such as do the center, symmetric flat, building a courtyard layout ,pool court system and so on. Fifthly, try to explore the three sectional component(pedestal, housing body and roof) and its plastic arts. Sixth, taking into account the inadequacies which the predecessors focused on the data collection and field investigation but neglect the construction techniques explore, in this part, I have done some detailed exposition in architectural level—the use of construction tools and types of apparatus division, tame technical level, the formalization of sun-dried brick, the changes of eaves structure, the transition from big Chashou to Liang roof frame construction.
