The history of Indonesian Chinese is a history of tribulation. Indonesian Chinese education is in the circumstance that Chinese education is very difficult to develop whether Indonesia is good or bad. After 9.30 event in 1965, Indonesian Chinese education Is forbidden by government. Indonesian Chinese are deprived of the right of education, the right of learning native language. With the change of home or abroad, Indonesian government change the policy of Indonesian Chinese education after cold war. Chinese education appeared in Indonesia again. After May event, Chinese education develops very well and becomes a part of Indonesian national education.The paper introduces Chinese education in details and the reason of developing.
