Brief informationTo translate articles, you need to clearly understand its original meaning, study its language environment, its writing background, its genre, the rhetorical diversity, etc. From translation experiences, I learned the necessity and importance of studying language environment. If you escape from a context or concrete language environment and try to understand words or phrases in isolation, you will not be able to translate them correctly. Especially when you come to a phrase which shows righteousness, it is important to study concrete language environment, careful analysis, associate meaning, reserved meaning, righteousness extended meaning, and the choice matches to translate into the expression skill of the language habit. In this article, besides foreword and conclusion, there are three parts; the first part has five minor points, mainly taking the definition and its basic characteristics and classification of meaning, the important path that elaborated confidence the original text meaning is a language context. The second part has three minor points, mainly taking the basic concept and its factors and characteristics of language context, made to elaborate in detail to how the language context of the original text carries on analysis. The third part has four minor points, explaining the function of language context, effects of language context in Chinese-Tibetan translation. Finally, the conclusion is that language context is root for Chinese-Tibetan translation; it is important to research more on language context theory and building language contextual understanding, improve analytical kills of language context, and use language context theory in translation practice. In the process of collecting material and producing this article, I tried to do my best. However, because I lack enough knowledge about translation theory, this thesis is somewhat limited. I hope professors and specialists will provide me with suggestions and advice. Finally, I especially want to thank my professor SambThon, who gave me very valuable advice while reviewing the whole process of writing this thesis.
