| This thesis studies the 《 Annals of History 》 from different five aspects to discuss the translatable limitation of the culturalconnotation. They are cultural obstacle of people's names, figure of speech,of idioms,of the color and of the figures. And generalize it as dissimilation and assimilation.The thesis consists of three parts: Part One. ForewordThe foreword part illustrates the contents, the significant of the research and the aim , the ways of research,the new points, the original materials and the condition of study in nowadays.Part Two. The main bodyThe main contents can be divided into two parts. Chapter 1:Use the detailed examples to explain the culture obstacle and its translatable limitation. Chapter 2:Divide the Chinese translating strategy on 《Annals of History》 into dissimilation and assimilation to study and discuss the limitations of each of the strategies.Part Three. ConclusionFrom the theory angle to comment the cultural obstacle on 《Annals of History》 and translation strategy of translatable limitation. |
