A Corpus-based Collocational Approach On The Semantic Profile Of Youdianr In Chinese Mandarin

Based on a large-scale modern Chinese mandarin corpus and a Chinese-English parallel corpus, this thesis attempts to explore the collocational situation of node word Youdianr (有点) in terms of its syntax feature and semantic prosody, from which draw an analytical conclusion of its corresponding semantic profile.Five modules as follows are included in this thesis:(I) Introduction(II) Report of collocates to the right in four colligations (NP, AP, VP, S)(III) Report of collocates to the left in five categories of markness.(IV) Semantic profile and its English equivalence(V) ConclusionThe conclusion of this study is believed to be of some value to TCFL and its lexicographists, as well as some relavent research in corpus linguistics.
