It is generally acknowledged that the integration of global economy promotes economic contacts among all countries and further improved them in span, depth and height than ever before . Especially with China's entry into WTO, its economic interactions in foreign trade with international communities have developed rapidly. Business written intercommunions , accordingly, have rapidly increased. So people in translation circle and pursuing business affairs attach more importance to the translation of business texts. The thesis, on the basis of author's research, is a preliminary attempt in the field. It is the author's intention that it can solve some problems in complicated commercial texts translation and have some help for people who engage in business affairs.From macro, and micr(?) perspectives, the thesis's theoraticalframework is on the basis of German Functionalism and Systemic-Functional Linguistics. To be exact, they are Reiss's Text Typology and M. A. K. Halliday's register. Through the concrete analysis of these theories, the author further explore the problems of translation standard, relevant strategies and methods of translating commercial texts.This thesis falls into four chapters.Chapter One presents theoretical guideline.Chapter Two reviews business letter's stylistic features and its corresponding translation methods.Chapter Three presents business advertisement's style and its translation principle's.Chapter Four scrutinizes business contract's characteristics and illustrates its translation methods.The above analysis leads to the conclusion that the standard of commercial texts' translation is multiple due to its different styles which can be obviously seen from business letters, business advertisements and business contracts.
