It emphasized on filial piety with the basic idea of loyalty, obedience, esteem and concord of Confucianism, telling people why and how to practice filial piety, advocating ruling the state by filial piety, so that, it integrated the ethic and politics, brought forward far-reaching impact on our history.For the lack of study of the historical development of The Classic of Filial Piety, lots of academic questions are suspended without settlements. In the opinion of academic history, this thesis discourses upon the occurrence, development, spread and the influence of the The Classic of Filial Piety, sets out the measures and decrees to advocate it of every dynasty and the status of its study and annotation of the scholars, to make its history explicit.
