Discuss Development Of Ameican Science And Technology And Its Impact On Employment

After the Second World War, American science and technology developed quickly, Its achievements were remarkable. It had profound impact on employment, such as the structure of employment, the structure of employment occupation, the proportion of employment sex . This thesis consist of four chapters.The content of the first, chapter is general conditions and characteristics of American science and technology development after the Second World War .There are two stages to describe the general conditions of development :from the end of the Second World War to the end of 1960s ;from the beginning of 1970s to the end of 1990s .In this chapter ,the author analyzes the main reason of science and technology development in different stages ,lists the main points of science and technology in both stages ,sums up the impact on economic ,summarizes the characteristics of the both stages at last, including three points: high effective ,various , comprehensive.The content of the second chapter is the impact on the structure of American employment of science and technology ,in which the author analyzes why the structure changed ,what the situation was ,how it affected the policy of employment.The content of the third chapter is the impact on the structure of American employment occupation of science and technology ,in which the author explains why the structure changed ,what the situation was ,how it affected the quality of workers .The content of the fourth chapter is the impact on the proportion of employment sex.In which the author studies why the employment proportion of women increased ,what the situation of women employment was ,how it affected the women's social position .
