The Forms And Influences Of Psychological Problems Of Senior Students In Chinese Primary School

The psychological problems of primary school students mainly refer to the unhealthy mentalities of mental conflicts, confusions, frustrations and vexations which may cause many troubles in their study and life and produce conflicts between them and our society. The 4-6 grade students in primary school (senior students) are facing the most important stage in their growing-up, which will make great influences on their studies, social communication and even their future development.Based on the MHT results by analyzing the questionnaires about some 4-6-grade students from Jiangxi province and psychological consultation letters to 376 primary students, the paper discusses the major forms and reasons of the psychological problems of senior primary school students and puts forward the resolutions concerned as well as following basic conclusions:1. Although many senior students in primary school are healthy in their mental condition, according to the MHT questionnaire, 50.74% senior students have the psychological problems which should be paid more attention to.2. These mental problems may exist in their study, social communication, personality and upgrowth, among which3. The problem in study is so important that it may have great influence on their mentalities.4. In MHT, there is little difference between male and female in most items apart from the item of terror intention.5. The higher the grades are, the heavier the pressure they may have from study, communication and society, the more the psychological problems they have. The students in grade 6 have higher scores on such items as anxiety, self-accusation, physical condition and terror intention than those of other grades students. The students in grade 5 have higher scores in study anxiety, irritability and impulsion than other students while the students in grade 4 rank the first in loneliness.6. Our school, family, society and even students themselves may have influences on their mental condition. We should take positive masseurs to protect students against any mental problems and improve their psychological development.
