A Study On Children Images Of Ancient Novels In The Song And Yuan Dynasties

The study of images is an very important part in the ancient novels'learning. However, there are not many children images in ancient novels because of the confuciannism that farther guides son. And these images are rough in art . It is very meaningful to clear up a line of the being and development of children images by digging and searching through a little trace. Not only it help recognize children image itself, but also help learn how the ancient novels to develop.This dissertation focuses on novels in the Song and Yuan dynasty,and analyzes the children images of it ,mainly study the images types ,art featuresand culture implication. The dissertation try to combine longitudinale andhorizonal dicussion together.Apart from the preface and the conclusion,this dissertation consists of four chapters.The preface introduces the ancient concepts about children,which are farther guiding son,the advocating of childish,and citizen people's different views on children.Then discusses the development of children images in ancient novels,which divided it into three different periods.ahead Song dynasty,Sony and Yuan dynasty ,Miny and Qing dynasty. Finally explains the main idea and status.In chapter one,discusses the types of children images in ancient novels during the Sony and Yuan dynasty.At first,describes social background and the situation about novels creation .Then briefly introduces children images in the novels,and classify it into two groups: religious children image and the ordinary children image.Religious chidren image includes children from Buddhism ,Taoism and other religions, ordinary children image including dutiful boy ,genius, servant ,shpherd boy,strange boy and so on.In chapter two,the art features of...
