The Contemporary Value Of Eryuehe's Historical Novels

Eryuehe has achieved much more in the fictionalization of history novel, especially in his remarkable work, named Trilogy of evening glow rosy clouds, which had been accepted widely among the readers. In this discourse, the author probes into his history novels from the following aspects: the contemporary values of his novel, the unique features in his history novel that his contemporaries don't have and what we can learn and avoid from his fictionalization of history novels.The first section of the paper is mainly based on the characteristics of history novel. It shows us how the history novelist, Eryuehe, has dealt with the relationship between "historical fact" and "fiction"—his artistically treat of "historical fact" and reasonable "fiction", made him avoid the weakness which exists in " pure history novel" and "new history novel". Thus, his historical novel obtained a higher level of aesthetic construction: the amalgamation of poetry and history.The second section emphasizes the features of dramatis personae in his novel Trilogy of evening glow rosy clouds. The dramatis personae in the novel could be divided into two groups: the emperor and the scholars. The author described the glory of the last feudal society in China and revealed the internal crisis of the feudal society in his novel artistically by the method of novel.The last section pays attention to the narrative features of the novel. When the author narrated his story he had followed the concept: reader is God. He went back to the traditional narrative method, and took "story" as a kind of important narrative strategy.
