During mid Qing Dynasty, Flowers in the mirror, written by Li Ruzhen, has descriptions on women country and the Imperial Examination for women. Here, I argue that, the author is to express his attitude toward the political system and customs of the concurrent society by the fantastic oversea country in an ironical way. In my opinion, the author just wanted to ironies the real society, which was dominated by man at the time, instead of advocating the sex equality. From the principle factors, I discuss that women countries in Flowers in The Mirror and in other Ming-Qing novels in order to illustrate that the appearance of the country of women in Flowers in The Mirror was due to the historical background and the situation of the concurrent society instead of attributing it to Li Ruzhen's attitude of equality between men and women, which should not appear at that time.
