Firstly, the meaning of Taoist Mediumistic Method is discussed. Secondly, the dissertation discusses the Tianpeng's method of conquering the evils, and the author thinks that this method came into being in Song Dynasty. Thirdly, it makes an in-depth study of this method's functions, terms, relative tools, and so on. The function of the method is to conquer the evils, and at the same time, to become the immortals. Lu is the basic condition for the master to begin the method, and it is closely related to the master's cultivation condition. In the method, the master must take meditation, and he needs tools as follows: six stamps, timer, and Tianpeng ruler. The tools must be made by specific material and in strict regulations. The procedure of making the tools is also the time for the master takes meditation. As a specific mediumistic method, the Tianpeng method has its own terms, such as bianshen, kaozhao, liyu. They are hard to understand, so the dissertation explained them. Then, the author discussed some relative Taoist writs, like zou, die, guan, zhang.
