Through the research which applies the inquiry learning method to music didactics course of high pedagogical academies, this paper is engaged to settle the following problems, that is, to make the students who major in the specialty of music education in high pedagogical academies to deep into the study of music didactics and apply it, so as to shorten their adaptive phase, exercise their skills in thinking, scientific research and problem settling as well as exploration spirits that lay the groundwork for the durative development in music education.As for the problems above, with the clue of what is the inquiry learning of music didactics course of high pedagogical academies, why and how, this paper develops its systematic research by methods of literature retrieval, interview, questionnaire investigation, logical analysis and comparison, from the theoretical and practical aspects.Referring to the theories of naturalism, pragmatism, tacit knowledge, high-road transfer, reflection, curriculum and so on, this paper demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of applying the learning methods to music didactics course of high pedagogical academies. Meanwhile, it sets up implementing framework for this new teaching model with combination of the characteristics of music didactics course, with expectation to settle parts of problems in music didactics for students, which is also one creative part in this paper.
