Study On Han Shi Wai Zhuan

Based on the previous research of Han Shi wai Zhuan, the thesis attempts to study the related issues from three aspects: (1) the circulation of Wai Zhuan and its relation with the style of hermeneutic at the beginning of Han Dynasty; (2) the study of factual confirmation by quoting Classic of Poetry in the book; (3) the thought research on Wai Zhuan.The first part of the paper shows the connection between the hermeneutic style of the book and other styles at the beginning of the Han Dynasty. Then, by the comparative studies of Han Shi Wai Zhuan, the compile scattered Han Shi Nei Zhuan, Han Gu, Han Shuo and Classic of Poetry, the writer tries to clarify their relations.The second part mainly focuses on Wai Zhuan's characteristics of quoting Classic of Poetry to prove the facts in three procedures as follows: firstly, classify different kinds of quotation from Classic of Poetry; secondly, compare its quotation with the citation of Poetry to prove the history in the Preface of Mao Zedong's Poetry. Finally, the writer analyzes the literature factors in the quotation to confirm the facts.The third part, by means of analyzing its relations with Taoism and Confucian thoughts, the thesis discusses the characteristics of the thought of Wai Zhuan. Han Ying, the author of Wai Zhuan, devoted himself to syncretizing different theories. Meanwhile, by the combination of Confucian classics such as Classic of Poetry, Collection of Ancient texts, The Book of Changes Zuo Zhuan and The Book of Rites, he promoted the integration of the Confucian thoughts.
