Schiller is the esthetician who first made aesthetics to be systematization in its history, and it's also he who first endowed aesthetic education a function of salvation. On the basis of the reflection of French Revolution, he brought forward an opinion that we could use aesthetic education to close the human nature disrupted by the civilization at present age and the division of social work. So, in this way, people can achieve political freedom in Germany even in the whole world. Influenced by the thought of Kant, Schiller figured that aesthetics was the transition from natural person to moral person. In the process of the demonstration, Schiller gave a high admiration to the idea that aesthetic education leaded to a future ideal state. But his theory was based on transcendental humanity, lack of the basis of practice. On this point, his future ideal state showed a characteristic of Utopia.Schiller attached great importance to the effect of perceptual when he was demonstrating taste salvation function. He thought that there were both perceptual and rational in human nature, but people went to the extremes. Rational restrained the perceptual, which resulted in the abruption of the human nature. Therefore, Schiller put forth the notion that aesthetic education should be used to renew the divisive human nature. However, if we just emphasize the perceptual too much, we may deviate from Schiller's original intention. Consequently, it's necessary for us to go back to Schiller and to review why Schiller attached great importance to perceptual and what the ultimate meaning was. Meanwhile, we still should pay attention to that Schiller's aesthetic education, as a sensibility education, finally aimed to his ideal moral world.Simultaneity, to a certain extent, the salvation function of Schiller's theory is a complementarily to the China's demand in the last century. Also, because of the abundant aesthetics elements in Chinese traditional culture, some Chinese intellectuals even connected aesthetic education to the national renaissance.
