The Study On Design Style And Evolution Of Jeanswear

With the continuing growth of economy and people's changeable life styles, the concept of jeanswear has changed. As a representation of American culture, jeanswear has become a necessary part of sportswear. Nowadays, jeanswear is not only a kind of clothes, but a symbol of fad culture, so it is attracting more and more people. In this paper, first we discussed the development and culture trait of jeanswear, which could help us understand the true meaning of jeanswear design. Then we analysed characteristics of Denim, techniques of sewing, methods and styles of jeanswear design, which could help us understand the design rules. Thus we can merge our traditional and multi-cultural idea into the original jeanswear when designing. Besides, we can combine the special technics with modern printing, dyeing technics, digital originality and arts expression under the successful design, forming a new design characteristic of creative vision and gentle crafts. As a result, it can provide a new way of thinking about jeanswear's originality design, development, and its fast reflection when facing the market.
