Research Of Zhanghu

Zhanghu, a poet in the ninth century, has his definite place among the poets of Tang dynasty. More than five hundred poems under the name of Zhanghu are left today. He certainly deserves to be study further.In this thesis, author intents to deal with three aspects of Zhanghu, and the thesis is composed of three parts.In chapter one, according to historical materials and Zhanghu's own poems, some issues on the poet's family background and life are given a new point of view. Chapter two focus on the influence of Zhanghu's creations during the past thousand years. And to make researches into Zhanghu's poetry collections in different dynasty is another important issue to be resolved in this part. In the last chapter, Zhanghu's poems are separated into five parts, according to their theme. Each part is studied intensively. By this way, the author want to give an integrated outline of Zhanghu's creations, and try to display the poet's unique art character.
