The New Folk Song Movement which took place in 1958 was influenced not only by the radicalism and practice in the process of pursuing modernization of the material wealth in new China, but also by the political ideology during the process of constructing spiritual culture. Furthermore, it was the result of abnormal efforts in the pursuit of art popularization since the"May Fourth Movement", the new culture movement. Moreover, it contained deeper social political culture psychology in the process of the whole nation's revel. The vast majority of the New Folk Song Movement discourse versions look ridiculous, but it can't be treated as a joke as to what is the true intention of literature discourse, political discourse and historical discourse. As literary discourse ,it displayed more politicization of imagery creature, conceptualization of emotional restraint and moodiness of ideal expression; as political discourse , its language refers to symbolization of political propaganda discourse, the main trend of nongovernmental ideology and political revelry of social life; as historical discourse , it displayed authenticity of tragic perversion, ridiculous interactive ness and a nation's requirement for the fake image of the nature of modern ,especially after hundreds of years'humiliation. From behind the apparent differences we can discover that as one of the most important forms of folk literature, the essence of folk songs had been eliminated in the wide-spread practice of new folk songs, the discourse power of intellectuals in literary creation was completely overturned and literary esthetic nature was covered with political ideology. In a word, the source of all these originated from the unbalanced relationship between literature and political ideology.
