The Comparison Of Tang's Legend And LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI

The thesis is aimed at study with the Tang's legend and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI of their likeness and difference.By the comparison , we can make two of the art special features and their position in Chinese novel history clearly.The thesis includes four parts .The first part is a comparison concerning topic. First analyze the likeness in the same topic of Tang's legend and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI , then point out that even a same topic, two of technique of expression also have differences.The second part is a person image comparison. Tang's legend with LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI both mold some same kinds of person image,but even the same kind has difference.The thesis emphasizes the female image, because this is the most important image in both of Tang's legend and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI.The third part compares Tang's legend and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI from the narrative angle .This part is divided into:narrative angle of view, narrative time, narrative structure and narrative language. Tang's lenged and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI ues some technique samely, but along with the theories becoming better and better, they will have differences, and these differences also is divided into an angle of view,time,structure.The fourth part particularly emphasizes at the language art.Both of them belong to the same the novel system. But with the ages developping, the difference of author's literature, the novel's language comes closely to oral.The purpose and the significanece of the research:the thesis discuss the differences between Tang'legend and LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI by the four points above,and hope to understand the two novels further in the comparison ,and make their position in Chinese novel history clearly. I hope by the discussion may promote the development of the art of the novel and prosperity of Literal creation.
