The distinct characters of Liu's Ci were Man Ci and the popularlanguage, which were related with the folk-custom of the Northern Song Dynasty. Thepopularity of Man Ci produced lots of new tones of Ci poem, which resulted in the birthof Liu Yong Man Ci. The taste of populace not only caused the content of Liu Ci-poemshowy and meretricious, but also affected its language. In the third part, we discuss the idealistic characters of Liu Yong from the point ofview of culture atmosphere in the Northern Song Dynasty.
