An Analysis On Humanity Portrayal In Yan Gelin's Novels

With incomparable delicacy and keenness, Yan Geling is regarded as the most influential new immigrant writer in North America by review circle. It is always her works main purpose to pay attention to humanity, to discuss and seek on personality essence, which goes through her holistic writing course. Not only does her works initiate a new field for new immigrant literature, or represent a new creative direction, but also represent an extension and development on the Chinese personality literature creation. In the thesis, following Yan's creating routine, combine with the exploration on the change of creative materials and means, I try to reveal the development and change tracks of her personality creating, and to analyze how she presented the whole strain and abundant intension humanity possesses through the conflicts of race, culture and gender.
