Forming And Development Of China's Artistic Conception Theory

As for the construction of contemporary literary theories in China today, much more attention needs paying to dealing with the modernization of traditional literary theories of China properly .What's more ,the essential problem with the literary theories is the artistic concepton of the literarature .This article will outline how such theories started and developed from the angle the circumstances ,the literal and connotative meaning in the literature works and disscuss the possibility that the theories of artistic conception will gain new progress in modern times and blend in the development of present literary theories .Finally the author of the present paper tries modernizing the theories of artistic conception.In this paper ,the author will elaborate his idea in four parts . Partâ… is about the stage of pre-artistic-conception and it mainly tells the theoritical indications of artistic conception embodied in the following theories ,namely,"The poem is to express his thoughts"in the book Shangshu, great shape as well as void and quietude of Laozi ,"ideas and images"in the Book of Changes, images beyond images and let-your-heart-be of Zhuangzi . Partâ…¡is about the stage of"ideas and images".It mainly elaborates the ideas and images in the category of the theories of artistic conception ,which is initially embodied in the theory of music and then given its definition .In addition,this section will explain how the theory of the ideas and images developed.Partâ…¢is about the stage of artistic conception .It focuses on the formal definition in the book Shige (the form of poetry) of Tang dynasty and advancement by Jiaoran and Sikongtu etc. as well as the gradual maturity of artistic conception. Partâ…¤is about the stage of modern artistic conception, in which the theories of artistic conception start to transform to modern aesthetics originally by Wangguowei in modern times .Initially Wang put non-utilitarian poetry into the poetry of China and has ever preliminarily started the construction of metaphysical poetry in the theory of artistic conception and formed the theoritical system of modern artistic conception focused on the realm. Later Zhuguangqian extended and develolped Wang's idea of non-utilitarian aesthetics and proposed that life should be artistic.Moreover ,he gave an interpretation to the theories of artistic conception through the theory of intuition .He also analyzed and promoted it according to the elements of artistic forms.Then Zongbaihua emphasized the consciousness and progress of life and advocated optimistic and aspiring attitude towards living in the society based on the tradition of China .He inquired it into the value levels and the ontological levels as well.
