Tie-dyeing has a long history in China. As an original dyeing technology, Chinese traditional folk tie-dyeing is so popular in folk civilization with its ethical characters and exquisite technology. Representation of modern fiber art has been slowly stretching from two-dimensional space to three-dimensional space. Not just traditional goblin, fiber art stands on the level of three dimensional space. Design focus could be a small sofa cushion of a set design in interior textile, which is used to spark the surroundings. It could also be a huge three-dimensional fiber article hanging down from the ceiling of museum, which highlights the whole room. Traditional tie-dyeing art must apply to the change of people's aesthetic point of view and modern architecture space's decoration. Combining environment with adjustment of colors, light and measurement, we should do more work on comprehensive research on the taste, function and vision of fiber art. This will bring tie-dye a new room and invigorate it to add more colors to daily life.
