Taking the passive sentence patterns of Qianyang dialects as research object, the paper observes and studies as well as analyzes passive sentences in Qianyang dialect from many respects by utilizing grammatical theories, cognitive linguistics theories and typology theories, implementing the principle of combining forms and meaning, static and dynamic state, description and interpretation, adopting research method of comparison, method of combining synchronic description and historical trace to source.The whole paper consists of seven parts:In the introduction part, the paper briefly introduces the situation of Qianyang county's geography, humanities as well as its language application. Meanwhile, the basis, significance, content and methods of research are also displayed in this part.Part One concerns the syntax patterns of passive sentence in Qianyang dialect. It depicts and briefly analyzes the three types of simple passive sentences in Qianyang dialect and its four types of syntax construction of indiscriminately-using sentence-type for passive and disposing patterns.Part Two states the syntax components of passive sentence in Qianyang dialect. It specifically analyzes various syntax componentsbesides passive marks of passive sentences in Qianyang dialect, such as subject M\ object NP2 behind passive marks, the construction and faint appearance of object NP3 behind 'Ba' indiscriminately-using sentence-type, as well as the constitution of adverbial before passive marks and predicate VP.Part Three tells about the passive mark and its to-be-grammatical course of passive sentence of Qianyang dialect. It particularly describes the syntax and semantic characteristics of the three passive marks of [ts'o45], [larj24], [pA31te'i45] in Qianyang dialect, and investigates their to-be-grammatical course.Part Four is about the semantic analysis of passive sentence in Qianyang dialect. It analyzes such main component as NPi > NP2> NP3 in passive sentences in Qianyang dialect and the semantic quality of VP from the aspects of semantic role, vitality degree and being fixed or not, etc.Part Five deliberates some factors that influence the choice of passive sentence and passive marks in Qianyang dialect. The principle of language similarity, the expressing intention of the speaker and the cognitive language circumstance and so on are believed to be the main factors which affect the choice of passive sentences in Qianyang dialect, while the choice of passive marks is influenced by such factors as the accuracy and sentimental colour of semantic expression. Moreover, thispart also analyzes and interprets the differences in selecting passive sentence patterns between Qianyang dialect and Mandarin from the respects of choice of passive mark, choice of person, faint appearance of syntax components, etc.Part Six surmises the syntax, semantic and pragmatics characteristics of passive sentences in Qianyang dialect, reaffirms the main opinions of the paper and puts forward issues to be further studied.
