| The article adopts three famous landscape artists, Hongling, Zhangdongfeng and Chenhexi as the research objects, analysies the discoveries in art by the three artists who are in their similar ages, have similar materials and do their best to combining east and west in landscape paitings. Discussing them by combining the history evolution, background of times, geographical environment and curlture environment. Hoping making some enlightenments for the development and outlet of Chinese modern oil-painting by the analyses of the achievement and cause of their art, and made the conclusion: Chinese oil-painting must have a foothold in the forest of art by absorbing excellent acheievement of Chinese tradional curlture, and pointing out: The road of combining east and west" is the hopeful main road which our oil-painting artists should concern.
