The first chapter can be divided into four sections, which introduce us the study status, XuHeng, the writer of DaXueZhiJie,ZhongYongZhiJie, as well as style, content and edition of DaXueZhiJie,ZhongYongZhiJie, various views and definitions of spoken language, and ways of studying spoken language such as words developing angle, and static comparison. The second chapter mainly tells us the using status of oral words like classing words into function words and content words, and biphony and polyphony. Why do we use biphony is to explain the homophone biphony, biphony, and explain the sentences directly or indirectly. The following chapter is to analyze DaXueZhiJie,ZhongYongZhiJie in order to study words like the function words and the content words from Tang dynasty, to see the meanings, appearing time and evolution of acceptations from angles inner or outside, and to analyze polyphony from idioms and literary quotations. In Chapter four the features of oral words in DaXueZhiJie,ZhongYongZhiJie are that there are plenty of biphones, homosemes and idioms, and the content words are used as the function words. When DaXueZhiJie,ZhongYongZhiJie are compared with ZhuZiYuLei we're surprised to see 35 owning totally the same meanings out of 60 biphones, 13 absolutely different and 12 between the two. In order to see the differences clearly we make use of diagrams. The reason why we explain the oral words directly is that it can reserve the original words, presume the time and add some new words. Linguistically, we can see clearly the development of words and transferability and penetrability and developing grammar. That is, the content words can be changed into the function word totally or partly, which also represents the productivity and displacement of language.
