With the existence and development of private property, the justice-profit view ensues. From that moment , the debate about the justice-profit has never stopped. In ancient China , under the direction of the Confucian culture and ideology , the Confucian justice-profit view which emphasizes the justice being superior to profit arises. Undergoing the baptism of the times, it takes shape and perfects day by day, becoming the mainstream of the justice-profit view of ancient China. The thought is beyond time and space, while Chinese thinkers discuss the justice-profit question hotly, the west headed by ancient Greece have begun the distinguishing of justice-profit too, from the wealth view of ethic to utilitarianism, after the development for several centuries, the justice-profit view which prefers profit to justice has been established in ancient west. Through probing into the background, historical conditions, the course of its development, the influence and result separately, the thesis analyses differences of the Chinese and west justice-profit view.By distinguishing the differences, the thesis explains the reason why the different views produce from such many aspects as politics, economy, etc. The thesis analyses their different effect and influence which they have on economic and social development, and regards the justice and the profit as the lever to prove the importance of the balance between them while discussing their differences, attempting to analyse and summarize with the dialectical method, which is of great realistic meaning and offers important inspiration for the development of market economy and construction of the harmonious society now.
