Under the Tudor, from Henry Ⅷ(1509—1547) to Elizabeth Ⅰ (1558—1603), proceeded the reformation which from above to below. English reformation regarded national independence as the banner, upholded common customs power politically. On the religious doctrine , ceremony of church, reform the organization of church and formed Anglicanism finally. As an important part of Europe reformation, the English reformation had got rid of the reliance of Rome, the autocratic royal power had been enhanced, and attacked the Pope's authority and dogman in Middle ages, had broken popery and Vatican unified the political situation of Europe for a long time, national consciousness and national spirit awakened day by day. The paper regarded the reformation as the research object, handle the basic theories of studying by History , Politics , Religion , Sociology are guided for methodology, discuss historical origin and realistic reason of reformation, course of the reformation , puritanism and the impact on political structure of economy of the British society and idea structure. Try hard to show this great historical incident.
