It is one of the approaches to carrying out mental quality education to penetrate in subject teaching, it is also a sign of the in—depth and well-rounded development of mental quality education. However, because it is a intricate and exigent task, on the other hand, dotty oppositely in theoretic research, resulted in the lag in practice. To explore its fundamentals and strategies, to construct a model aiming at a certain mental quality, is a significative and important thing to direct teachers' job.The study on the sense of self—efficacy was first initiated by the American Social Learning Psychologist Bandura in 1977. Perceived academic self-efficacy has a deeply affect on students' scholastic living. It influences their achievement and body and mind health. Thus, cultivating students' academic self-efficacy is the important component of schooling.The research construct a model to cultivating academic self-efficacy, basing on the theoretic research of the psychology quality education and the sense of self-efficacy, linking with demanding of mathematics teaching. To test its feasibility and validity, a four-month experiment was carried out upon the middle school students of Grade Two.The result indicates the MMSE emended is an instrument with good reliability and validity, using it with intensity and extent to measure middle school students' math self -efficacy, can get further information. On the other hand, the application of this method has a notable effect on developing the pupils' sense of mathematics self—efficacy, especially with the best effect on students who have low or medium sense of self—efficacy, what is more, the model worked on improving students' the level of psychological quality and mental health. |
