He was good at expressing his emotion and had a perfect command of allusion. The first part of this thesis analyzes WuShilai' s life experience and circumstances to study his thought of laying down his life for a just cause. It inquires into WuShilai' s poetry and essay on different editions, ideology,content, and art characteristics. The writer hopes to be just and fair in the appraisal of WuShilai' s writing.The second of the thesis has an elaborate collation on Hengchaji(published in the sixteenth year of Wanli) to resume its original flavor at great extent. Explanation is mainly on historical facts, literary quotation and melting other' s writing to understand the writing' s thoughts and feelings properly.
