A Collation And Explanation Of Wangzao’s Collection Of Poems

Wangzao,named yanzhang,whose naive place is Dexing in Raozhou,was a very famous artist in Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.His rhythmical prose was best known,even be elected as the first place in his time.His poeties are not as famous as his articles,but they are actually very characteristic.Mr.Qian Zhongshu is very appreciative of his poetry,considering that his poems were one of the best,which can learn Su Shi rather than Jiangxi Poetry School in his time.In fact,his poem creations not only learn Su Shi also learn Huang Tingjian,and have own characteristics in the use of allusions and antitheses.Therefore,Wang Zao’s poetic creation has its own value,and it is necessary for the study.In recent years,although researchers pay more and more attention to Wang’s poems,writing several master’s degree dissertations in different perspectives,but they are limited to expositions and slightly floating.Nobody has collated and annotated Wang Zao’s poems.This paper attempts to annotate Wang Zao’s poems.And research the background of poetry writing,the names of people and locationsinvolved in the poem,in order to understand the author’s world and situation.This paper is divided into two parts.The first part is the preface,which is the exposition part,divided into three aspects:Wang’s life,the version of his collection,his poetic style.This paper studies the problems in his life,including his place of origin,the relationship between Cai Jing and Wang Fu,the cause of offending Qin Gui.And discusses the version of his two collections(Fuxiyi and Fuxiwencui).In addition,his style of poetry learns Su Shi and Huang Tingjian,also has its own characteristics.The second part is the text,which is the annotation of Wang Zao’s poems.This paper uses Precious Collection of Wu Ying Dian Palace as fundation,collating with Siku collection,refering with Ma Jin collection,Qian Qin collection,Wang-Shihan collection.Annotation is mainly focused on two aspects:On the one hand,it annotates the meaning of poetry and allusions in poetry.On the other hand,it studies of poetries’writing background,characters,locations,current events and so on.
