Subject Well-Being mainly refers to individuals' overall evaluation on their quality of life according to the standards devised by them. It includes two essential elements--life satisfaction and emotional experience. The former is individuals' cognitive evaluation on the overall quality of life, that is the degree of satisfactory judgment about personal life in general; the latter refers to individuals' emotional experience in life, including positive emotion (happiness, lightness etc.) and negative emotion (depression, anxiety and nervousness etc.). It is an important synthetic index of psychology employed to value individuals' quality of life. In the 1950's, the campaign of Positive Psychology sprang up in the USA. Since then, psychologists gradually realized that how to make people feel happy was not equated with the study on negative emotion and psychological state. Therefore, they began to probe into the composition of happiness and the social psychological elements which influence happiness from a positive point of view in the expectation of having an accurate and profound understanding of the happiness problem.The level of Subject Weil-Being is influenced by the internal part of an individual and various external elements. High school students are in a special stage of their life and are going through physical and psychological changes. Their personalities and values begin to take shape and are not stable. Meanwhile, National Entrance examination puts a heavy pressure on their shoulders. Therefore, in order to improve and enhance youngsters' life quality and the level of their psycho-health, it's theoretically and practically significant to explore the influence of personality, values and life events on high school students, so that they can form sound personalities and values, confront their life actively, and in turn have more experience of well-being.This study adopted the General Well-Being Schedule, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (Chinese Adults Version), Adolescent Self-Testing Values Questionnaire, and Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check List, and...
